James B. Smith land grant, plat, and deed, 1832-1833.

This collection consists of a grant to James B. Smith of Burke County, Georgia for Lot 269, 160 acres, in the 77th District, 2nd Section of Cherokee County, 1833. A plat and pendant seal are attached. This lot was probably a gold lot. The collection also contains a deed for the same lot of land from James B. Smith to Stephen Corker, both of Burke County, bearing the same date as the original grant.
